Successful Sixth Form Residential Trip
Year 13 Biologists and Year 12 Geography students completed their residential field trip to Overstrand last weekend.
Year 13 Biologists and Year 12 Geographers enjoyed an informative and hardworking weekend at Kingswood Centre at Overstrand Hall, Norfolk, where a variety of field trip techniques in both subjects were experienced.
The Biologists spent time in workshops and on site investigating Recapture as well as looking at Succession and Colonisation on Kelling Heath.
Meanwhile, the Geographers completed their River studies along three sites on the River Glaven and Coastal studies at Cley next the Sea, Salthouse and Sheringham. They also looked at Rural population issues in Overstrand itself.
The students were kept very busy all weekend but were pleased to complete these essential parts of their AS and A Level courses.
