Upper Prep: Years 3, 4, 5 and 6

In Upper Prep we understand that each child learns in their own unique way. Our teaching is tailored to their learning so that every individual child can reach their full potential in all areas of the curriculum.

In our independent learning environment teachers are able to identify and refine the framework of the Primary Curriculum to deliver exciting and challenging lessons. Above and beyond the expected subjects, we offer a diverse and broad curriculum including Modern Foreign Languages, Food Technology, Drama, Reasoning and Forest Schools.

Cross Curricular links are exploited as they arise. Each year group participates in a variety of independent learning projects including team work and individual presentations. Children are encouraged to work to the best of their ability at all times; aiming to become increasingly independent as they move towards Senior School.
